Women Artists in History - It can be difficult to find information on women artists in art history, so this site has collected a huge number in one place for easy reference. Timeline of Art History - The Metropolitan Museum of Art's timeline is an invaluable reference and research tool for students, educators, scholars, and anyone interested in the study of art history. Extending from prehistory to 1600 A.D., the timeline features an unusually vast amount of non-Western art.

Directory of Art Movements - If you are interested in learning more about a particular movement or period in art, this concise resource is the place to go. Brief descriptions of all major Western movements will help you better understand the development and history of art.
