You can then browse through the collection or search by country, state, author, keywords, or data field. | Historical Map and Chart Project - A large selection of historic maps including aeronautical, Civil War, city plans, topographic, and more. Search the database by keyword, region, type, year, or chart number. Then submit. A list of the selected maps will appear at the bottom of the page (scroll down to see them). | Panoramic Maps: U.S. and Canada - Historic bird's-eye view or panoramic maps. From the Library of Congress, a collection of city overview maps from 1847 to 1929. Search by geographic location. | UC Berkeley Digital Map Collection - Thousands of maps from the UC Berkeley Library have been digitized and put online. Though the site isn't particularly user friendly, it's breadth makes up for it. Though there is an emphasis on California maps, there are also thousands of historic maps of other areas. | University of Georgia Hargrett Library - Interesting historic maps of the American Revolution, the U.S. Civil War, the New World, and the Savannah and Georgia areas. The selection of maps date from the 1600s to the 1900s and focus on the United States. |
