Quilting ResultsAbout Quilting Quilting Fact: Foundation piecing and paper piecing are not the same technique. For foundation piecing, multiple fabrics are sewn to a marked foundation that represents all or part of a block. Paper piecers use paper templates as cutting and sewing guides for individual patches; patches are not images of a block.
