| Getting Started |
| 1. Create your ResultsAbout Page according to our style guidelines and make it available for public use within 14 days of About accepting your Agreement. |
| 2. If you are acquiring an existing ResultsAbout Page, the Page should be available for public use within 7 days of About accepting your Agreement. |
| What You Need to Do |
| 1. At least once every 7 days, log into your ResultsAbout Tool and: |
|
• Purge or fix broken or changed links on ResultsAbout Page. • Add new sections or links as relevant to your keyword. |
| 2. Your ResultsAbout Page should be optimized for search, according to our optimization guidelines. |
| 3. Your ResultsAbout Page should be free of spelling, grammar or formatting errors. |
| What You Should NOT Do |
|
• Do not create sections, links and/or annotations that are NOT related to your keyword. • Do not plagiarize or slander. • Do not discuss confidential information from About, Inc. that you may obtain by being a ResultsAbout Editor. • Do not enter into outside business relationships, content arrangements or affiliate deals on your ResultsAbout Page, without the prior permission of About. • Do not use the ResultsAbout Page as a promotional vehicle for a Web site or company you own or with which you are affiliated. • Do not create, facilitate or generate false clicks, false page views, false unique users, or any other fraudulent metrics. • Do not use copyrights, trademarks or other property (intellectual or otherwise) of a third party on your ResultsAbout Page without first obtaining permission from such party. You are solely responsible for obtaining all permissions. |
| What You Should Know |
| About will be tracking certain metrics related to the performance of your ResultsAbout Page and analyzing via a proprietary algorithm. Via this algorithm, each Page will be assigned a "Power Rating" that will serve as a measure of user satisfaction with the Page. The Power Rating may include information such as click-through rates and unique visitors per Page. The Power Rating may be used to determine payments and ResultsAbout Editor status in the future. Power Ratings will be based on an Index of 1 and can move up or down based on the algorithm's assessment of the performance of certain metrics. |
| Changes to Rules and guidelines |
| About has the right to change these Rules and any guidelines at any time in its discretion. About will notify you of any such changes prior to their implementation. |
| Removal of ResultsAbout Page |
| About has the right to remove your ResultsAbout Page at any time if it determines in its sole discretion that these Rules or any guidelines are being violated in any manner. |
